Port & Airport Free time - 7 Days including week-end (Thursday & Friday)

Customs Demurrage at sea port will be applicable after 7 Days free time at the rates of SR 20.00/ton/day including tare weight.

At airport for 1st month SR 0.01 /kg/day 2nd month SR O.O2/kg/day Above 3 months SR O.03/kg/day

After 3 months cargo will be transferred to auction yard & stored for another 3 months thereafter auctioned.

For any hazardous cargo (IMCO) need prior approval from port authority or even Ministry of Interior for Dangerous Cargo.

For Military cargo written permit from Ministry of Interior is a MUST, prior to loading of cargo.

Electric Items. Machinery and autos etc need SASO certificate to avoid unnecessary delay or even rejection by Customs.

For cargo in transit from Saudi Port, original manifest should read or specify final destination port.

Direct Delivery Cargo should be notified to agent in advance in order to obtain customs approval of same and in order for transporter to have low beds by the pier at time of carrying vessel arrival. Failure to do that would result in customs to refused discharge of cargo.

According to Saudi Customs exempted cargo permits is valid for one port only.

For LCL cargo RIYADH destined cargo must be separated from Dammam. that is different container. different manifestation.
